You can take rt1aN from the tunnel all the way to
Lynn
(you'll hit a lot of traffic circles) At the community college you want to
veer off from rt1a-Don't go to
Salem
! Stay on your right and follow the sign to Nahant/Swampscott. You're not
going to Nahant, though. At the traffic circle, veer left and then go
straight through Swampscott (you'll be right on the water). You take this
straight into
Marblehead
. You'll see a sign for 129 by a gas station, go that way. Keep going for a
while, you'll see the
Marblehead
sign, it should take approx 15 min from the traffic circle. You'll hit
downtown, lots of shops and you're on
Atlantic
. It veers to the left at 'Shubies'. The next corner is Washington St-make a
right. Go a few blocks and this will veer left also. You'll be in
Old
Town
. At State St (flashing lights), make a right. Go1 block to
Front St
, make a left. You're almost there. You're looking for Circle St (there's 2,
you want the second one), it's just before the Barnacle Restaurant, (on your
right), also on the water. If you've passed it you've gone too far. Make a
left on Circle and an immediate right down the first driveway (there are
signs). We're in the back, off the street.
